At Bristol City for 28 days. Fair play, hope he gets a run of games.

Brings in CASH for a STRIKER !!!!!!

We were not keen to loan him out before, the timing is NOT a coincidence.

He'll get lots of practice as according to a couple of Bristol City supporters I know they are crap at the moment.

I doubt his wages were particularly high.

But even if they were only 3k a week, that's 3k extra on the amount we have for a striker.

If we could only afford 10k a week before, we could now afford 13k per week.

Could tip the balance for a deal being done.

Not necessarily, Bristol City probably will not be paying all of Dunk's wages.

Still, this is a good move for everyone involved.

Good luck to him. The court case stuff interfered with his progress but this could be a good opportunity to get it back going again, wish him well

Exactly they might only be paying £1k a week which means we can now go for a striker who will cost £11k a week.

I am in agreement. A short while back he was un-available for loan to anyone. Suddenly we let him go out. I doubt his wages are high but i would imagine his wages will free up a little cash for a striker coming in. As has been said on other posts the striker coming in is unlikely to be a top striker but a fringe or development squad player whose wages may not be that high. That guy banging them in at West Brom is a U21 player and was on £850 a week reportedly although he has a new contract on the table. Not saying it will be him because it won't but there may be a few other decent players in the Premier League who we can sign on loan for not to much money.

I imagine Bristol City were prepared to stump up more than Swindon/MK Dons, so that will have likely contributed.

Have we got an instant recall when the injury jinx moves on to our defenders?
