Certain length of time, appreciation of change of personnel (playing and coaching), injury problems, possible lack of investment money etc etc.

Even so, Sheffield Wednesday were there to be scalped in the first half. Not gonna jump up n down, just point out that on current form we are heading for mid table obscurity, on the back of the biggest season ticket sales in the Championship. Not much room for excuses.......

At around this stage in Gus's first season in the Championship we didn't win for 10 or 11 games. Oscar's only been here 5 minutes. Some people are ridiculous.

Mmmmm, 5 minutes is actually 10 games, a quarter of the season.

there is FFP and we seem to be the only team sticking to it, not looking good for Saturday against free spending Forest

Everyone needs to get it in their heads - this is a mid table season. All the evidence suggests it is, new manager, other teams like leicester and forest are reaching maturity, the teams coming down aren't basket cases. If you think making the top 6 is easy then you're deluded.

Retarded comment. If it was so easy to walk into a new club then everyone would do it, there is no black and white answer to how long it will take. I think half a season at least before things start to click.

Tonight was frustrating to say the least, but after what happened last season, and after the last 20 years, and after not blowing millions in the summer, mid table in the 2nd tier doesn't seem like such a disaster.

That was the worst performance at the Amex ever. Questions are gonna be asked. Especially as SW were utter shite. We never played that badly under Gus.

Don't kid yourself, turn up like that against forest and it will be a cricket score. Supporters are definitely not ridiculous but the team were. Oscar has had a much better starting point than Gus IMHO.

Can't think OG will be allowed to many horror shows like tonight before being asked to budge up.

And? We have been inconsistent, big whoop. We played brilliantly away at Reading, and poorly at home to a Wednesday side that were fast and powerful. We are only 6 points off the playoffs, if we can recover from our injury crisis and get a bit of consistency then we could easily end up in the playoffs. Look at the results tonight. The only teams with any semblance of form is the top two (and probably Millwall!)

We had a decent gameplan from the start that created two one-on-one chances - if we'd converted just one (and we should have scored both) then I'm sure the gameplan would have worked and it would have been a straightforward win. As it was, our defence conceded another poor goal (not much Oscar can do about that) and then the team lost their shape a bit when Ulloa was off and the subs came on. I really do think there's quite a bit of hyperbole at the moment, and that there's not much more Oscar could have done tonight. Of course this is just my opinion.
