Albion in the Community has been unveiled as one of the finalists for the 2013 Football Business Awards.The awards ceremony, currently in its second year and held at Chelsea Football Club on November 7th, is the leading awards ceremony celebrating the business of football. AITC are one of only two club community schemes to be nominated in two different categories.
AITC Chief Executive Michael Edwards told seagulls.co.uk, "We are thrilled to be nominated as a finalist for both the Best Community Scheme and Best Corporate Social Responsibility Scheme. The nominations are recognition for the efforts of our staff and the valuable contribution made by American Express to delivering an inspiring joint CSR programme."
Director of the Awards, Simon Burton added “Business and football are inextricably linked and on pitch performance needs to be matched by commercial achievement and acumen.
