Each German team has the identical songs.

Atmosphere like this at all German games.

Easy when

-you can take alcohol to your seat
-it's 15e for bundesliga games
-you have terracing
-and several guys at front with speaker phones lol

It looks so effective when everyone starts bobbing up and down together - love it ! Most noticeable thing is they all keep to the same pace when singing a song - not racing off at 100 bloody miles an hour to try an finish it before everyone else !

AWESOME - transpose this to the AmEx and the effects would be unbelievable given our acoustics.

Some of that reminded me of the Nuremberg rallies!

Football's version of Zumba, complete with matching outfits and the class teachers at the front-no thanks!!

Quite. The next thing you know you'll be dressing all in black, getting a police escort to home games, making calls about games based on radio commentary, banging a drum and getting a degree in semaphore and banner making. Might as well move to Croydump.

If the North was non allocated seating(like most away games), the songs would be more together rather than 2 starting at each end at the same time.

Doubt they would ever go for that idea though.

The problem with non allocated seating is you are only allowed to sell a certain percentage (about 90% I think) of the seats.

To me terrace atmosphere is a spontaneous witty culture. Probably best witnessed in the Kop in the 70's.

I don't like all this pre-arranged happy clappy, jumping all together, loud speaker mumbo jumbo clap trap. Although standing terracing would improve the atmo at all stadia.

The only way we'll ever come close to getting that sort of atmosphere is with safe standing in the north and south stands. I know Celtic want to bring it in so maybe it will happen sooner rather than later.

But if you take the seats out.
Maybe a stand with 4000 seats would have space for 5000 standing [on terracing] - so 90% of this would be 4,500.
This is 500 more so the price can be reduced to maintain financial equilibrium.

Results = more fans?
