Should we assume that you will not be voting UKIP the Dave?[/QUOTE

:-D
No, I dont like racist twunts, so that lot have no chance.

Really, maybe you should take a look at some of the candidates, instead of what the other parties and tabloids are peddling. Here is just an example, the Hillingdon Branch of UKIP.

Wow. I'm totally amazed by all the posters who bought the Tory lie that Labour were responsible for the economic collapse and not the banks. Let's not even bother to consider the simple fact that the Tories were screaming for greater reductions in control over the banks when Labour were in govt. Oh no! Cos it was Labour wot dun it. Not the greedy bankers who screwed us up.

Brilliant news this week that Labour would cap the energy companies, spare no sympathy for the energy company bosses wringing their hands on £5M a year. Well done Ed for bringing our party back to socialist roots. I'd rather go into the next election with a manifesto that sets out a return to policies that look after the non-privileged and lose, than go back to new Labour politics. But then again I'm an old lefty, and always will be.

Still, let's be realistic, with Murdoch on their side and the inestimable ability of my beloved fellow citizens to want to serve and obey their imagined betters, the Tories will probably win. Feudal system anyone?

Are you sure Labour had nothing to do with the economic collapse........

http://londonprogressivejournal.com/article/285/gordon-brown-and-light-touch-regulation

Balls has even apologised in Parliament........

If you was really an old lefty you wouldn't be taken in by Miliband's socialist lite platitudes about the energy companies..........if he was serious he would be talking about re nationalisation.

Remind me what did he say today about the Royal Mail..............

What, not left enough for you? I agree. But any shift by the party in the direction of nationalisation is very welcome by me.

Up your alley
I tell people I never vote, people say what if everyone was like that, I replied that would knock those politicians down a peg.

BTW saw Norman Baker in 1st class section of train on Monday, nearly asked him how much he paid for his ticket.

That's the point, there won't be any shift to the left, ..........the reason why is the Edward's devotion to the EU.

Labour can't be trusted, they ****ed the economy before (see previous links) they will **** it again. At least the Tories are Tories, not Tories playing at socialism..........there's the lie.

Well said Hornblower. Those conniving tory ****s are only looking out for a small section of society. And it doesn't include you and me.

Just read through the thread....my take on it is...
I was bought up with a Labour controlled family...1946....I have been in two unions...and I would never ever vote Labour...all this they are for the working man is a load of...c**p...tell that to all the ripped off people in this country who were riddled with strikes and restricted practices...who is the richest politician...a Mr Tony Blair...if you vote for them then you have very short memories...of their unrestricted immigration and spend spend policies...as for Ed Millaband with his attack on the power companies...well done Ed....you've already cost this country £800m in shares alone...it is not only the firms that lose but the country as well.
Tories joined the EU when Ted Heath was Prime minister....but then it was just a trading market...since then slowly but surely it has become very political...
Both Labour and Tories promised a referendum on Europe before the elections...both went back on their words.
Lib Dems...well Norman Baker is a good starting point...the man who did everything he could do to stop the 'Amex' being built...the transport minister who when he cycles refuses to wear a crash helmet...Clegg who promised to back the Tory plans on boundary changes if the Tories back them on the AV vote... (Labour changed the boundaries to suit their vote) which they did....Clegg would not return the promise.
People are asking for more affordable houses to be built...what's the use of that when Labours open door policy has let in thousands of illegal immigrants
I was a Tory voter but due to their weak manifesto on Europe in May 2014 when the EU vote comes on the agenda....UKIP have my vote
I know there are voters who disagree with me...fine,it's your choice....but as Kennedy said...Ask not what your country can do for you...what can you do for your country......Wake up Britian, don't walk into to an European controlled UK.

Good luck with your doctrine, you bought the big one.

What doctrine? That some millionaire who got to Oxford through the patronage and influence of his multiple property owning Marxist millionaire old man. A man who has never had a job but knows what it's like to be working class?

I know a Tory when I see one, and we had exactly what we had with Blair and Brown..............and both were a disaster for old Labour. Balls and Miliband were as close to Brown as it was possible to be...........Balls has apologised for his and Labours failings in controlling the banks...........he should have walked.

You think they should be trusted again...........we need old Labour back not ****ing more Tories.

Balls and red ed would cause riots . In a way I hope the chuckle brothers win because Labour would never win again with those 2 in charge off the country. Working class red ed the millionaire that has never done a hard day's working class day in his life. And don't get me started on George Osbourne . Democracy stinks!!!!

The problem with first past the post, is that your vote only really counts if you live in a marginal constituency. My MP is in a safe seat although I want to vote to get him out, so to do that, I have to vote for a party whose policies I don't agree with.

I may just spoil my voting paper.
