Sadly...
One of my earliest tv recollections was a cartoon crow advert for peas ffs.
'squark Watch out mate, youre too late, the best peas went to Farrows...'.

Yes, I remember it all well.

Other things that really stick with me are:
the Esso Blee Dooler, and other Esso Blue adverts.
Get the strength of the insurance companies around you
Michael Holliday singing You can be Sure of Shell
Putting a tiger in your tank - but that might have been later.

Norman Vaughan - Roses grow on You
Shredded Wheat adverts ending with someone weakly saying "pass the hot milk, please."

Hey Dave. If I remember rightly, the crow rocks up and says 'Where's my dinner?

The reply is ' Sorry mate, you're too late, all the best peas went to Farrows'.

I can remember some of them but we were living in South Africa from 1966 to 1970 so missed a lot of the adverts during those times.

Youre probably right. What worries me is, Ive no idea why I remember it at all...haha

Don't worry, you are not alone in remembering it.

On another vegetable note, what about "In the Valley of the Jolly - Ho, Ho, Ho, - Green Giant."
