There was still time for Kuszczak to fist away another Spearing blast.
But the Bolton's man's unfortunate intervention at the other end proved to be the turning point of Albion's third win of the season.
Final: Albion 3 Bolton 1

4:48pm
March eventually joined the fray in place of David Lopez as the game moved*into five*added minutes.

4:46pm
Albion were edging closer to a first come-from-behind win since the opening day of the 2011-12 season, though Hall had livened up the visitors.

4:45pm
Then Spearing had a blast from long range and Kuszczak punched it away.

4:43pm
(Apologies for somehow getting March, rather than Conway, into the report momentarily!!!)

4:42pm
LuaLua and Conway combined down the left and the latter's deep cross was crashed against the outside the post by David Lopez on the volley.
But Bolton retained hopes of a comeback and Kuszczak got down to parry a well struck drive by Hall.

4:39pm
Hall looked the most likely to spark a bolton comeback. He showed great skill to get past Ward tight to the touchline before being bundled over by LuaLua inches outside the box.
Hall took the resulting free-kick but his cross was blocked by Bruno.

4:37pm
Bruno took a midfield role and was involved in a move which brought a corner.
Now*Conway was up front.

4:36pm
Next on was Bruno for Albion, replacing Buckley. The former Bolton trialist was treated to a standing ovation as he exited.

4:35pm
Hall made room to deliver a good cross but Pratley could not get his header on target at the far post.
Odelusi replaced Ngog before play could resume.

4:33pm
Buckley was now operating at centre-forward.

4:31pm
Barnes received a warm round of applause when he made way for home debutant Conway.

4:26pm
LuaLua rifled over with his left foot from outside the area as Albion enjoyed themselves on what was now a greasy pitch with drizzle falling.

4:21pm
David Lopez was booked for a foul.
Bolton readied Hall and Beckford as they plotted a salvage mission.
But, before the changes were made, Ngog and Eagles worked shooting room for Baptiste, who is making a habit of scoring goals from right-back. But this time he fired over from the edge of the box.
Chung-Yong Lee and Wheater then made way for Hall and Beckford.

4:18pm
Albnion's three goals in six minutes had totally transformed the afternoon - and the North Stand taunted under-pressure Bolton boss with choruses of "You're getting sacked in the morning!"

4:17pm
It was bedlam now - and BUCKLEY cut inside to fire a drive across Bogdan and inside his far post.

4:14pm
Albion continued to press and, when Buckley pulled the ball back from the byline, CALDERON connected with a volley which was not truly struck but bounced across Bodgan's dive and inside the far post.

4:12pm
LuaLua curled in the free-kick and it seemed to flick off the head of Spearing to leave Bogdan helpless - although Barnes also celebrated.

4:11pm
Spearing was next in the book for his foul on Ward.

4:09pm
LuaLua went on a couple of dangerous runs in the second half, the second of which ended with half-hearted penalty appeals as he went down.
Then he delivered a cross which was headed away from Buckley beyond the far post.
Mills was booked for delaying a quick free-kick after he fouled Barnes, meaning both Bolton central defenders had seen yellow.

4:02pm
There has been plenty of debate about the ownership of the Bolton goal. Albion's video analyst studied footage from behind the goal and is telling us Ngog*got a touch as Eagles' cross, deflected by David Lopez trying to block, rolled goalwards.
However it is very hard to get these things changed on various media outlets once they have been reported as they happen.
So David Lopez might be stuck with the own goal.
The big question is how did the ball get past Ince and Kuszczak

3:47pm
Eagles caused problems with a corner at the other end, his inswinging delivery from the left flying across the goalmouth with no Bolton player able to get a touch.
Wheater was booked for clattering into the back of Barnes in added time.
Half: Albion 0 Bolton 1

3:42pm
Barnes was hauled down in the box by Wheater as a cross came in - but ref Jones ruled Barnes had already been impeding the Bolton centre-back.

3:38pm
LuaLua brought memories of last season's game against Bolton flooding back when he came within inches of a fabulous equaliser.
He cut inside from the left corner of the box and thumped a ferocious shot past Bogdan and back off the crossbar.
It was the same bit of woodwork which denied Albion three times in the first half of this fixture last season.

3:33pm
It was a desperately soft goal to concede and Albion looked to make amends but LuaLua and Ince had well struck shots blocked by defenders.

3:31pm
Bolton threatened again when they teed up Pratley for a shot which was deflected behind.
The resuling corner saw them go ahead in bizarre fashion. It was worked short and, when a low cross was then played in gently by Eagles, it seemed to flick off a defender and in past Kuszczak with NGOG credited with a slight touch.

3:25pm
Crofts had no complaints when he was first in the book after mistiming a challenge on Eagles in midfield.

3:22pm
Barnes found room in the Bolton area and won a right-wing corner from which the hosts tried something different. David Lopez pulled his flag kick back to Ward outside the area and his shot went past the top corner.

3:19pm
Bolton had settled now and Eagles tried to catch out Kuszczak with a snapshot from outside the box - but the keeper again dived low to his left to push it away.

3:16pm
Bolton's first corner, in the 13th minute, was cleared. But the visitors could easily have been ahead seconds later.
A pass in his own half by Ince was intercepted and Ngog was in on goal - but his well struck shot produced a terrific save low to his right by Kuszczak

3:10pm
LuaLua and Buckley had clearly been given licence to move infield and get on the ball when they saw fit. LuaLua did it to decent effect on eight minutes but his eventual drive, from 25 yards, was not not truly struck and rolled tamely wide.
Buckley, meanwhile, looked in the mood to cause left-back Tierney problems tight to the West Stand touchline.

3:05pm
Albion attacked the South Stand end in the first half. Bolton were in an almost luminous orange away kit - but it was the hosts who made the bright start.
David Lopez saw a dangerous free-kick headed away, then failed to beat the first defender with a corner won by LuaLua.
Crofts threaded a superb pass inside the left-back for Buckley to run on to down the right. His cross seemed destined for Barnes until Mills stretched to get his head on it.
David Lopez was again off-beam with his next set-piece, lofting a free-kick high over the players waiting in the middle and behind for a goal kick.

3:00pm
Match is in progress

2:52pm
Last time he was here, Dougie Freedman came into the post-match press conference, sat down and just laughed. It was easy to see why. His team had just taken a battering at the hands of Gus Poyet’s Albion side but emerged with a 1-1 draw.
He knew the sort of questions that were coming his way. So he just sat down, looked at the reporters and gave a sheepish laugh before saying: “Come on then...”
Well there have been few chuckles of late for the Bolton boss, whose side are winless coming here to The Amex and bottom of the table.
Having said that, reports suggest their performances are improving and they felt they were unlucky not to do better than draw 2-2 at home to Derby in midweek.
Albion are unbeaten in five – but really need a win today if they are to capitalise on those draws at Reading and QPR. Throw in the wasteful home draw with Millwall and the Seagulls have taken three points from the last nine available. That might be seen as negative way of looking at things – but wins are what really count and three points today would be most welcome for Oscar’s men.
