Just found this really old football board game whilst clearing out the loft, anyone ever heard of it??

Not quite sure you would get away with it nowadays!!

Don't get much odder than Subbuteo IMHO. According to Wikipedia, the "Subbuteo" name is derived from the neo-Latin scientific name Falco subbuteo (a bird of prey commonly known as the Eurasian hobby), after a trademark was not granted to its creator Peter Adolph (1916–1994) to call the game "Hobby".

What was he thinking?
