Isn't most of the area around Lewes train station either residents only parking or pay at the meter? Not sure how long the maximum stay is. Think it's about £5.50 to park at Lewes train station.

Lewes FC are playing away on Saturday. When they are at home, most Lewes supporters who drive to games manage to park free in the car park at South Downs College in Mountfield Road. That car park is about a 10 minute walk from the railway station.
