8:08pm
QPR centre-back Onuoha left the pitch midway through the half with an injury, seemingly hamstring. Assou-Ekotto replaced hiim to make his QPR debut. Assou-Ekotto went to left-back with Hill moving into the middle.

8:00pm
Upson reacted quickly to tidy up when O'Neil looked like pouncing on a loose pass in defence.
Then Upson moved across to usher the ball away from Austin at the expense of a corner. The ball was played in deep and Onuoha's effort to help it back into the goalmouth flicked off Phillips before Kuszczak dived to gather

7:58pm
Rangers were playing nice stuff at times with O'Neil getting on the ball in a midfield role ahead of Henry and Barton while Phillips and Wright-Phillips stayed wide.

7:54pm
Conway won and took the second corner of the match. Again it was cleared and Phillips broke away on a dangerous coounter - only to play the ball to Wright-Phillips, who was clearly offside. Barton turned his low cross into the net anyway.*

7:51pm
Kuszczak had to come out sharply to dive and gather a through ball at the feet of Austin.
Albion, though, won the first corner. David Lopez's delivery from the right was headed away but Ward kept the attack alive by curling a superb pass back out to the Spaniard. Again his cross was cleared - but the ball eventually fell to Andrews, who fizzed a powerful drive just over from five yards outside the box.

7:47pm
QPR gave former Blackpool winger Matty Phillips a first start and he was into the action on the right within seconds. He got in behind the defence but Albion tidied up his low cross.
The away fans packing the top tier of the School End were in good voice. But the hosts made the early running.

7:44pm
No change of ends so here we go with Albion defending the away end (which is also a home end in the lower tier)

7:42pm
Teams are out. Albion in yellow shirts and what look like black shorts from here but are actually navy.

7:39pm
It looks like 4-1-2-3 (or 4-1-4-1, depending how deep the widemen end up) for the Seagulls.

7:37pm
One of two things will happen here at Loftus Road tonight. Albion will win here for the first time since September 1957 - or QPR will go top of the Championship.*A draw or win takes the hosts into top spot thanks to results last night. They have won their last four games 1-0 and not conceded a league goal in 415 minutes. But Albion are unbeaten in four, games, during which time they have only conceded one goal. Let's see what happens
