Simon McCoy is a bit of a joker. I'm pretty sure this was a deliberate 'stunt' to show the pointlessness of presenters having to hold iPads which they never refer to. Ever.

Pedant alert - he didn't mistake his iPad for photocopy paper. It was the other way round.

It wasn't photoshopped. A BBC spokesman said he made a mistake and didnt have time to change it. Seeing as he said on the pathetic royal baby coverage it 'wasn't news' live on BBC I'm hoping he was taking the piss.
