Stop Making Sense - Talking Heads

Can't be many much better than this.

Girlfriend is Better is a triumph.

Shut Up and Play the Hits - LCD Soundsystem. It's part documentary part gig and a fascinating insight into James Murphy's thinking about starting a band so late in life and then ending it at their peak.... but hopefully it counts.

I've never seen this but I am going to order it now. Does it feature Heaven? A lovely song.

Second song as the band join David on the stage.......this is a work of majesty.

I will check out the LCD Soundsystem one.

Rust Never Sleeps, doesn't get any better although some would argue The Song Remains The Same eclipses it,not IMHO though.

This, for me. But I'm an old dyed-in-the-wool Zep fan, so am totally biased.

As mentioned, it's the second one up. It really is a beautiful version.

The version of 'Once in a Lifetime' is also my favourite version too.

Actually, now I think about it I have the CD of the film. I remember me and you discussing this in the past and I went out and bought the soundtrack. Really is a wonderful song and version.

Some of the best concert DVD's are all-star casts. Concert For George is probably my favourite but The Strat Pack is great too, (Gary Moore's Red House is incredible). If you can put up with a couple of Ringo Starr 'favourites' his All Star Band concerts are well worth checking out for their great line-ups.

Here's the show in its entirety. Sadly enough I watched on live stream, whilst having an occasional cry.

This is how it's done
