Should have kept the money. 200 quid in 1983 would have paid the mortgage off on their lovely terrace house in Rotherham.

The most curious thing..
That programme was rubbish even then and looks desperate now.

Just because you and your misses missed out on a speed boat!

Usually won by someone in Birmingham. Caravans were another popular, "must have" prize.

The seaside.
The star prize was cash. ITC rules at the time meant they couldn't advertise a cash prize hence the speedboat/caravan shit. Think it was a couple grand, 5k maybe, but the prize was always cash. No-one really won a speedboat ffs, are you all stupid?

 My childhood ruined. Every Sunday watching Bully (love a bit of Bully) hoping and dreaming that Clive and Deborah from Tamworth would win a speedboat.

Or Tamworth - as Peter Kay said in his stand-up video.

Jim Bowen: "D'ya want ta gamble your prizes - A Henry hoover, an electric razor and a weekend in Scarborough, for Bully's special prize?"
