We're driving up too, and will most likely be stopping on the way for some munch. Depending on the time will knock about in town for a pint or two. There was a thread on this a few days ago I believe, with a good few recommendations.
Egg mayo and scotch bonnet sarnies en route with a decent Médoc. Leaving Ditchling Road area 10ish, but Boxing Day last time was cold, poor result and dreary so may pack an extra Tunnocks Caramel Wafer just in case.
Willy you try eggs benedict (poached eggs on ham and muffins with hollandaise sauce for us commoners) which appears to be the 'in' breakfast at the moment.
