Will Di Canio walk before he is sacked?

After a poor start to the season with Di Canio publicly pointing fingers at his players, getting smashed by Arsenal today, and sitting ugly at the foot of the table with 1pt from 12.

Will Di Canio storm out of the club or be fired?

And how long will it be for Sunderland be the first opportunity for our ex manager to be tested in the Premiership?

I fully expect Di Cannio to self combust while in one of his regular Tasmanian Devil type rages.

Ridiculous appointment from day one, one promotion with Swindon Town and they think he's the man to secure their Premier league status, they can dream on

Sunderland are hardly going to swap one Looney Tunes for another.

He is quite a character. He is the best manager in the world in his eyes but very average in reality.

His failure is bad news for Poyet tbh. A little unfair as Poyet achieved way more than Di Canio and deserves a shot in the Premier league, but he'll be tarred with the "Latin temperament lower league manager" in England. I wouldn't be surprised to see him go abroad

He was widely cheered by Sunderland fans today.

Yep probably, bad ref decision at fault today, but this will soon be forgotten if a win doesn't come soon. They play fellow strugglers West Brom next so that result and performance will be a massive test followed by Liverpool and Man U after they play Peterborough in the League Cup.

If players are not performing then they deserve a kick up the backside. If refs make bad decisions then this should be pointed out. The season has only just started so it's far too early to judge him. If sunderland are still bottom on 5 weeks time then it will be the right time to asks questions.

As long as the black twats swashbuckle, the buckling league position won't harm the tonsorially challenged tit

Gus would be an easy to handle replacement for that misanthropic mentalist. He had the power to inject belief in the most of us for an age, so there's little reason he wouldn't do so at a higher level for a side rattled and anxious over the loon more then likely soon to go.
