Norman Baker, Transport Minister, what a plonker!!!

Seen leading a bunch of school children the wrong way up a one way street on bicycles. Mr Baker what were you thinking?
Where was this?

There are streets in Lewes where one way traffic applies to motorised vehicles, but cyclists can ride legally in both directions. It doesn't cause any problems.

Lord B, N.B believed to be travelling in the wrong direction on Potters Lane. I also understand that N.B was not wearing a cycling helmet when East Sussex C.C insist that children have to wear helmets during training. Not a good example,

This is the pr*t who was the inspiration behind the Morris Minor owner featured in chapter 9 of Robert Rankin's Brightonomicon.

Google street view has a NO ENTRY sign located mid way along Potters Lane, which suggests that it's only the southern section that is one way. The northern part (near the schools) seems to be two way.

As for his failure to wear a cycle helmet, this is a point of principle with him, irrespective of his own department's advice and the policies of ESCC.
