Has anyone got a Apogee Jam?

It's a little gizmo that you plug your amp cable into and your iPad in the other end and it uses your iPad as an amp and effects stuff.

They want $99 on the net!

I bought a lead about 6 months ago that allowed you to do this, you could only listen through headphones though. It was a lead that plugged into the headphone port of the iPad then has a kind of splitter with 2 inputs, 1 for your guitar lead and one for headphones. Works ok, I think it cost about £20.
I will dig it out tomorrow if I can and give you more details.

Ah right, thanks mate.

I am still after an acoustic guitar to practice on. The electric one I have is a bit basic, makes a decent sound but I have been advised to get an acoustic/ classical one

I believe it's something like this 'Griffin Guitarconnect GC17122''on Amazon. It seems to be advertised with an app called ishred although it works with GarageBand.
