They have a bigger budget so the pressure is higher on them than it is on us but it will be a tough game for both sides"
Oscar Garcia
Albion head coach Oscar Garcia has called on his side to show mental strength, ahead of the game at Reading on Sunday. The Seagulls face a stern challenge against the former Premier League side but the Spaniard is confident his side can claim three points by showing the correct attitude.
He told seagulls.co.uk, “We must have the mentality that we can win any game in any stadium and we have to play in our usual way to do that.
“We need to try and keep possession and what I want is for us to play at the same level when we are at home and away. This is the mentality must have.
“They have a bigger budget so the pressure is higher on them than it is on us but it will be a tough game for both sides.
“We are prepared and looking to continue performing as well as we have been.”
Albion’s televised trip to the Madejski Stadium is the first of three tough fixtures within a week, with a trip to QPR on Wednesday followed by the visit of Bolton Wanderers, and Oscar says these are the weeks you relish in football.*

“When you are a player or a coach, you want to play or be a part of these kind of big games against the league’s strongest teams. It’s exciting for everyone and we are looking forward to playing Sunday.
“We have to forget it’s on TV and we just have to play like we have in other games. We have been exciting although we still want to improve but we will be working 100 per cent to win this game.”
Meanwhile, Garcia has praised his defenders, who have conceded just a solitary goal in three games.
“They are helping us a lot as they are fit all the time and they practice every day. They are an example to the other players.”
