My mother passed away two weeks ago. Unfortunately she had a pretty pants life and passed away at the age of 57 after years of alcohol abuse. In her memory I'm planning to walk the entire length of the Pennines to raise money for an addiction charity, highlight the effect alcohol can have and also in her memory of course. I'm planning on doing the 268 mile walk in December from approximately 20th Dec - 4/5th January. We'd be staying in B & B's, hostels and pubs generally.
If anyone else wishes to join me I'd be more than happy to welcome as many on board that feel they can do it and also want to raise money for anything that is close to your heart etc. I appreciate it's a mad time of year to do it and it's not an option at xmas for many but the challenge it offers and the fact time off work would be small makes it a challenge I personally will complete.
