My babe and i are season ticket holders in the North Stand.
For the forthcoming Bolton match i rang up the ticket office as i want to bring my daughter along too.
That means moving to another part of the stand.
I have done this before- normally we get sent tickets by post- and myself and my babe get a text confirming the move-easy peasy.
This time i was told i would be sent a ticket for my daughter and we could use our season ticket cards for us adults.
Alarm bells rang in my little brain when i got a text confirming the move but my babe did not.
So i rang up the ticket office to check all was ok- they said all was fine-
although when i asked a confirmation text be sent for my babe they said they could not do this.
I still felt uncomfortable having no confirmation for my babes move to another seat so i rang customer services.
Luckily i did-
Our season tickets would NOT have worked on the day and we would not have been able to get into the stand!!
The ticket person had done it all wrong-the transaction had not even appeared on my purchase history.
It's all sorted now [ i hope] but i wanted to share this with you lot in case it happens to anyone else.
