Albion Women are on the road again this Sunday when they travel to Warwickshire to face Coventry City, and will be hoping to build on last week’s thrilling 6-3 victory at Keynsham. The Seagulls have just one doubt going into the match, as Cherelle Khassal picked up a right adductor strain in the win in Somerset.
But last season’s top-scorer Kim Stenning, looks likely to make her first appearance of the season after being unavailable for the previous two weeks.
This is only the second league match for Albion’s Sky Blue opponents, after they beat Lewes 2-0 at the Ricoh Arena on the opening day of the season.
For Albion it will be their last league match for three weeks, until they host West Ham United at Worthing on 29th September; meaning a good result carries even more significance going into the break.
