Sorry good people, but thinking of getting one of these collapsable ladders, that i have seen for £50 or so in Maplins.

Any recommendations or tales of caution. Cheers folks.

I've bought a 2.4 metre telescopic ladder from Maplins last year for £60. A bargain. Surprisingly sturdy and not too heavy to carry. The only problem I've had is the release catches to drop the ladder sometimes stick. That's where our good friend WD40 comes in and all's well once more

Keep it clean or it won't slide together smoothly and be careful not to get skin caught when the sections collapse down.
Brilliant ladder though

You will only catch your fingers in it once, then you will have learned the lesson.

I've caught mine three times.

I am an idiot.

Be very careful on ladders folks.
I fell off a 24 rung extension ladder when I was 18.

Luckily I was only standing on the first rung and didn,t hurt myself.
