I can't view youtube at work. That's the lady from Balamory, right?

Cheshire Cat

The most curious thing..
Notice the way the replay only shows the goal attempt at the other end and completely ignores the fact that Bremner nearly got his head kicked off.

Yet it was a cracking game, just take in some of the highlights. These were two sides that had a real dislike for each other and in the replay they both showed it.

To be fair everyone had a real dislike of Leeds back the, especially Bremner and moreso Giles....

That replay was one of the dirtiest games in history. It began when Ron Harris took out Eddie Gray with a waist-high challenge as a warning after Gray had been man of the match in the first game. Total Football magazine got David Elleray to re-referee it by modern standards and neither of Chelsea's scorers, Peter Osgood and David Webb, would have been on the field to score. Johnny Giles and Jack charlton would also have had early baths, and Elleray said that that was only based on what he could see on the video - he suspected that there was a lot of off-the-ball stuff that the TV coverage of the time hadn't spotted.

Funnily enough, there wasn't a single booking on the night ....
