No different to a stunt man but there is usually very careful planning goes into proper stunts.

Certainly made mine disappear into my stomach.
They do do a reccy of their route. To blindly jump would be idiotic. Last thing you need would be to go for a jump and realise mid air that you're going to landing on a glass roof.
