So we were losing 6 million a year at withdean? where is the 72 million loss from withdean?

What have we spent an additional 18m on?
Players wages. Increase in catering costs. Increase in staff costs. Quickly come to mind.

I think staff went from 120 at Withdean to 800 at The Amex on match days. Players wages. Cost of running Withdeam (3s/6d) v The Amex (£millions). Plus that fact that originally we went all "gold plated" on everything and needed Barber to come in and sort out the mess. But shows that if FFP really could be enforced, and we get the costs under control (as we are) TB has given us one hell of a legacy - a huge revenue earner.

I don't think it was a 72million loss at Withdean over all the season we were there, but our losses were covered by members of the board.
