The signings today was a tad busy

Unsurprisingly the signings over ran by half an hour or so, but as usual the Jnr Stats enjoyed meeting the players, and they were very welcoming.

KLL was there trying to keep a low profile.
Easier said than done in his white BMW X5 with a LUA number plate .

He too was very welcoming with photos and autographs.

Bloody hell, never expected it to be that busy! Was considering just going up there for a nose around and a casual chat about tactics with Oscar during his down time. Glad I didn't now..

Rather more successful than the quiz night at Selhurst then. Good to see.

I saw KLL (white X6) by West Hove Sainsbury's as I made my way up to the shop at 3:30pm. The players might not have been there, but nor was anyone else, which meant I could get in and out in a flash.

It was interesting to note that the staff were remarking they had been given free bottles of water after the rush. That kind of generosity doesn't happen often, apparently.

FFP in action on EVERY level at the club? :jester:

Its not an X5.

Its a white X6. At one stage three of them had them - KLL, Noone and Vicente.
Be grateful I knew it was a bmw, I'm taking that as a win.

Had it been a Time RXR VIP, I could have told you the name of the man that built it, from 100 paces.

Did that include bar staff ? I can't remember now.

In fairness though, I think Arsenal were on telly that night.

indeed they were - on the screens at the event - that's why the attendance was so HIGH.

No, but you don't understand! This means our fans are PLASTIC somehow, because we have fans who want to meet the players, whereas their fans are WELL hardcore and would hate to meet the players, or something.

Oh and I tracked down Dr Helge and Calde.

It's fairly safe to say Dr H has never before been accosted by a gibbering fan, and Calde has never been all but ignored at the Amex.

It was all a bit too much for me, double

The queue for Dicks Bar starts earlier and earlier. You need to get there 18 days before kick off now.

It's cos we've got so many PLASTICS and they were probably all buying clackers

(Just thought I'd get in there quick before the great unwashed arrive)

I can't see the unwashed turning up here, not with their track record of meeting the team.

Now we know why we didn't sign anyone yesterday, what's more important, winning promotion to the Prem or watering your bloody dog?
Stat dog, of course.

The queue was 10 times that of calander signing and a tad warm.
The old fella did well but his master had let him down, thankfully the club stepped in.
