Yesterday Bale was purchased for €100m the equivalent to £85.3m on Sunday yet less than 24 hours later Arsenal bid €50m for Ozil which is now only the equivalent of £42.4m.

My only conclusion is the sale of Gareth Bale has made the £ stronger over night...therefore good deal for all of the UK

Shit. I was planning on buying a Bale later. Better wait for a better fx rate.
