Crystal Palace put in bid for Brighton academy that isn't built yet

A Brighton sauce said: "It's a strange one. They have gone on for years about bringing the kids through and no Brighton players being good enough for their reserves.

"Now we have this £10,000 bid to have it all, lock stock and barrel. We should probably take it, as there's nothing actually there yet. Seems like a good deal right now. Maybe Wurzel is desperate to spend the budget before the year-end."
