"The sending off was definitely the key part of the game and the turning point as we were comfortable.

"We set up to nullify Brighton who we gave due respect to after they won their previous two games. We deserved our goal and to come away with a draw is disappointing really because the players were superb."

"If we are to really, truly take this great club forward we need some fresh blood and there needs to be an injection of new faces.

"Too many players have become stale. Hopefully we can shift a few on and be creative."

--------Yes they did nullify us, "to come away with a draw is disappointing" they really had one shot and scored, yes we were poor first half although the sending off DID NOT change the game, he quotes they were comfortable!!!!they were lucky we did not score at least a few with the chances that we had over the last half an hour!
Their interviews after the game are so one sided - waste of time. Superb with fouling.

Didn't he also say the game was played in the 'right spirit' neglecting to acknowledge his sides shameless time wasting.

Apparently being camped in your own 6 yard box for 25 minutes is comfortable...

Hated him as a player, not a fan of him as a manager. I reckon he'll be gone before the season is out.

I never understand why people get upset over opposing managers comments - he has his own agenda, and clearly this one is aimed at his board to gve him funds for players. He has no obligation to see the game faurly, he's not a journalist.

Take off your rosé coloured glasses, as Lomas is right - Millwall were very comfortable until the red card.

We caused very little problems for Millwall and they always looked the more dangerous team on the break.

We have won two games and drawn one against three teams who can be expected to struggle. We need to sign three new players otherwise WE will be struggling come Xmas and no amount of head burying in the sand will change that.

Sorry but what breaks we're they. I think they only had one decent attack.

No problem with Lomas's comments, managers will always spin things the way they want to.

For me, their time wasting from 20mins was appalling, but the ref did nothing until it was too late.

They came with a game plan to nullify us, waste time and grab whatever result they could. They went 1-0 up and we'd barely managed a shot at goal and didn't seem to have a clue what to do so at that point they were pretty comfortable and probably would have been disappointed with only taking a point. However, Oscar's substitutions together with the red card did change things. I also thought that when they took off MacDonald they lost something going forward on the break.

Lomas's comments aren't really aimed at us though.
