Welsh international Andrew Crofts wants to keep Albion’s recent run of good form going when Millwall visit the Amex tomorrow.Having put an injury-disrupted 2012/13 behind him, Crofts has impressed new boss Oscar Garcia by finding the net in the last two games, and now he is hoping the team can continue their mini-run into the international break.
The 30-year-old, who will link up with Wales on Monday for World Cup qualifiers, told seagulls.co.uk, “We’re under no illusions, but we’re on a bit of a run at the moment and hopefully we can keep that going into the international break.
“Millwall have some good players, perhaps they haven’t had the best start, but that’s football. We know it’ll be a tough game and we’ll be approaching it in the right manner.”
“Every game in this division is hard, anyone can beat anyone on their day but there’s a good atmosphere in here, the lads have their feet on the ground and it is early days, but we just want to win as many games as we can.
“We’ve got to take care of this one first and it will be difficult, but if we can get the fans behind us, like they always are, then it will make a massive difference.
“We know what we need to do. Sometimes it is easier said than done, but we will be giving everything we can to try and get the three points.”
And the Albion midfielder says head coach Oscar's philosophy is starting to pay dividends on the pitch.
He added, “The boys are really starting to gel now and, with Nathan Jones’s passion and enthusiasm in there too, it’s a good mix.
“We played really good football last year and he [Oscar] wants to continue that and he is really calm and collected.

“The last two performances have been really good and there are a lot of players in the team at the moment who are on top of their game and, if we can continue to do that, then we’ll win more games than we’ll lose.”
Crofts will be hoping to feature against Serbia and Belgium as Wales continue their World Cup Qualifying campaign- but says his first priority is continuing his fine form in the Championship for Albion.
“To be an international call up is massive. To get back into the squad was important. It was my twenty-fifth cap the other day and I want to build on that, but to get back playing here and playing well, was my first objective.”
