If he'd take 1/3 of his wages to come play for a club he has no ties to then sure!

Remember the guy joined West Ham from Barnsley, in the Championship. Granted, he is probably well paid, but it wouldn't have taken mega bucks to tempt him away from Oakwell, having been there last season.

He absolutely anihilated us at Upton Park when we got tonked five nil two seasons ago. Class act in the Championship and could still do a job lower prem , actually would have been a much much better signing for someone like Palace than Gayle or Chamack.

Remember seeing him playing for Barnsley against us at the Amex the season before last. Quality then and quality now, would snap him up in an instant. Done well at West Ham unsure as to why he now seems surplus to requirements?
