31st Aug - Millwall HOME - Could really do with 3 points from this, Lomas struggling so far with the Lions (pl 4, W 0, D 1, L 3).

15th Sept - Reading AWAY - Haven't started as well as I would've expected, but still a very tough fixture on paper.

18th Sept - QPR AWAY - Looking very good, with a number of players surely too good for this level?

I'd probably take 4 points, as long as performances showed consistency.

2 points bare minimum, 3 points expected and 4 points or more is magical.
Arguably 2 of the toughest games this season.

I think all you can reasonably expect from that lot is 3 against Millwall unfortunately, maybe Bridge will do us a favour against Reading.

I don't "fear" QPR but do you not think - at this early stage in the season, with injuries and Oscar still settling in - they might just be too much for us? Be delighted even with a draw in that one, and I'm always pretty positive about the Albion.

The important thing is to beat Millwall anything from the other 2 is a bonus. 4 points would be great

Would agree with this, though early on could be the best time to play them. Rangers have started strongly, but Reading will probably only improve as the season goes by.

If we get more little improvements v Millwall, then Reading and QPR are coming at exactly the right time.
We'll slip down at some point, but would love to go into those games with the momentum still flowing.

A number over 4.
I can't bring myself to say 9 or 7, but that's not to say it couldn't happen.
