Oscar Garcia is thrilled to be off and running at The Amex.
The Albion head coach saw his side score a first home win of the season by beating Burnley 2-0.
Oscar said: “We wanted to win our first game here in front of all the fans.
“For the last game, only some of them could come to Birmingham.”
Oscar was unsure why Burnley goalkeeper Tom Heaton received his second yellow in the second half but hinted he might have gone before the interval.
Heaton escaped with a booking after tripping Will Buckley just outside the Burnley penalty area.
Oscar said: “It is a quick decision for the referee. There was one player behind but it is his decision and we need to play like this.
“It’s difficult to say but, in my position, I saw Bucker with one touch can score and there is nobody at the goal but he saw maybe another player closer to Bucker that I didn’t see.”
Oscar was delighted with the seoicnd-half header by Leo ulloa, at the end of a sweeping move, to wrap up the points.
He added: “It was a fantastic move by some players on the team and very good finishing by Leo.”
