Four Albion players have been named in their country’s squad for upcoming international fixtures.Gordon Greer has been called up for the third successive Scotland squad for the Tartan Army’s World Cup Qualifiers against Macedonia and Belgium.
The centre-back is yet to make his national team debut although was on the bench for the 3-2 defeat to England at Wembley earlier this month.
Andrew Crofts was recalled by Chris Coleman for their recent friendly against the Republic of Ireland, making a late appearance as a substitute.
And following his goal heroics against Birmingham City for the Seagulls last weekend, the midfielder has once again been called upon to represent Wales.
Coleman’s men will be facing Macedonia and Serbia in two World Cup Qualifiers in September.
Rumours swirled that Adam El-Abd had scored his first international goal for Egypt against Uganda last month, but unfortunately for the defender the goal was not his.
However Albion’s longest serving player will have another chance as he has been named in the squad to face Guinea in a World Cup Qualifier and South Korea in a friendly match.
Elsewhere Vitalijs Maksimenko has been named in the Latvia squad after making his debut for Albion earlier this month.
