Andrew Crofts celebrates
Lee Clark admits Albion’s passing and movement off the ball undid his Birmingham side yesterday.
And the Blues manager was far from happy about it.
Andrew Crofts strode forward in support of Kemy Agustien to fire the Seagulls’ winner at St Andrew’s after a neat passing move through midfield involving Jake Forster-Caskey.
Clark admitted: “I’m disappointed in the way we’ve lost the game because the goal from our point of view was very poor.
“We’ve seen the midfield runner from a deep area, we haven’t tracked him and we’ve allowed Brighton too much time on the ball to set up the move.”
Clark felt his men deserved a draw but also pointed out Albion are a better side than their results before yesterday’s game indicated.
He added: “Brighton are a good team. I knew their results have been a little bit false.
“They pop the ball around and we gave them too much time in the incident that led to the goal and didn’t stay with the runner.”
