Albion defenders Adam El-Abd and Vitalijs Maksimenko*played in friendlies for their respective national teams in today's earlier kick-offs.
El-Abd played the full 90 minutes in Egypt's 3-0 win over Uganda, which took place in a surreal atmosphere in El Gouna, while Makismenko had a full game for*Latvia against Estonia in Tallinn.
Albion head coach Oscar Garcia will be keen for both to have come through unscathed given his lack of full-backs.
Maksimenko played at left-back against Derby on Saturday while El-Abd, who has been on the bench for both Championship matches so far, has the ability to fill in at full-back if required.
According to reports from Egypt, the Pharaohs played in front of*just 300 spectators due to unrest in the country. There was no television coverage and press photographers*were not been admitted.
Estonia drew 1-1 with Maksimenko denied a stoppage time winner by the goalkeeper when he tried his luck from outside the box.
