As I'm finishing work later on Saturday's I felt the sensible thing to do would be to shell out for a Uni space.

We arrived at the Uni at 2.
We wandered to the ground.
We joined a short queue for 3 pies, all hot and available, and 3 drinks.
We all enjoyed our food and then watched the football.
We left at the final whistle.
We got back to the car.
We were home 45 minutes quicker than the Mill Road park and ride days.

It's a shame about the result, but everything else went like clockwork.

Barber-out, he's ruining MY club.

And probably managed to go to the toilet by yourself to.

The big G mans friend was also very unhappy that everyone waited until half time to go to the toilet. Defo blame barber for that. We need timeouts during play so fans (customers) can piss.

I was really brave.

There were no instructions or anything, but I think I did ok, most of it went in.

Don't recall moaning about pissing at half time. Only the time it takes to get a drink.
But just to play along.....that was shit as well!

You didn't go in the away dressing room at the end of last season, did you?

The best decision we made was to use the university car park from Day 1. Almost always hassle free, a short hop to the ground and home by 5.30. But if the rest of you could kindly not use it it will continue to make the experience just as good.

Alternatively the club can sell nappies with a club crest on. People don't have to queue to piss and more revenue for the club

Uni parking has always worked well for me. Today was told that car park 2 is now also a disabled car park and car park 4 seemed to be unused. Still easy to park in 5 at just after 2 pm. Would be good to get a little more info though from the club about which car parks are being used or not.

I like this.

We arrived at Brighton Station at 1.30
Got on the first train, with a seat.
Got into the ground at 2pm.
Waited 2 minutes, served by a polite and friendly lad, 2 pies & 2 pints.
Watched the game.
Left straight after the whistle rather than stopping for a pint - bit fed up.
On the 1st train that arrived after queuing for about 10 minutes.
Home within about 45 minutes of the final whistle.
The only event I've been to that could match that for efficiency would be the Olympics & that involved a LOT more walking, which makes you feel you're not actually queuing.

The only thing that spoilt my experience was some crap defending and Andy D'Urso.

Of course, if I expected to turn up at 2.45, still have a pie and a pint and be back in Brighton 10 minutes after the final whistle like some people seem to, I'd be disappointed.

Got on coach 1 ish
Got to coach park 1.40 ish
Walked to Swan 1.50 ish
Got a couple of pints
Got big portion of chips
Walked back to ground
Watched football
Got back on coach
Went to my local and got abused by a couple of Palace fans (all good natured)

Decent match experience for me. Used the Bridge car park, which is nice if you have little ones as the walk to the AmEx doesn't involve any roads after the car park itself and so they can run free. Service at the food stalls was no slower than I'd expect given the number of people in front of me, and although it's obvious that the team are in a state of transition I'm pretty excited for how it could be looking a couple of months from now.
