Season-ticket holders using the club's direct debit scheme are reminded that they must be up to date with their monthly payments or risk being refused entry to the Amex, ahead of the game against Derby County this weekend. Those who have missed a payment should call the ticket office to make a payment, at their earliest convenience, on 0844 327 1901 and select option 5 (open 9am-5pm Monday to Friday). Please note call queue times are considerably higher in the 48 hours immediately prior to a home match.
*
Albion kick off their home campaign on Saturday, and head of supporter services Jenny Gower commented, "Overall our season-ticket holders are great, and the vast majority are up to date with payments, but there are a number of fans who have missed payments over the summer months.
*
"We have notified those who've missed payments between April and July, and will be notifying those who have missed August payments later today, and while we understand these things happen occasionally, we would ask supporters who have missed payments to contact us as soon as possible before Saturday's match with Derby to avoid being refused entry at the turnstile.
*
"The direct debit payments system is hugely popular with fans, but the downside is that chasing missed payments takes considerable time and cost the club a significant amount of money.
*
"The ongoing success of this scheme relies on our supporters maintaining their payments, if payments are missed, we would ask that people call the ticket office and that arrears are settled as soon as possible."
*
Those using the direct debit system are also reminded that if more than one payment is missed, they will be liable to an administration charge, their card being blocked and also run the risk of their season ticket being cancelled.
*
Gower added, "We have added the administration charge after two failed payments, to try to cover some of the considerable costs of chasing and administering late payments over the past two years."
