The club has now despatched new smartcards to all new season-ticket holders for the 2013/14 season and these are due to arrive by Thursday.
*
Supporters who have moved seats or age bracket have already been sent a new smartcard.Fans who held a season ticket last season – and have not moved seats or changed age brackets – will NOT be sent a new card and should continue to using their existing smartcard.
*
The smartcard will be used for access to the stadium on a matchday, and fans can load e-cash to the cards by following the guide below.
*
Season-ticket holders are strongly advised to pre-load their cards online, prior to coming to the stadium
By using your smart card to buy food and drink within the stadium, or merchandise in the Seagulls Stores, you have the opportunity to earn cashback - and queuing time is significantly reduced. If you've not done it before, here is how you do it:
1. Visit the online Seagulls e-cash page.
2. Log in using your unique fan number, card number and password
3. Click top up in the My Details section, and follow the on-screen instructions
Once Seagulls e-cash is loaded, you are ready to go and use your card to pay for food, drink and in the stores!
NB: After topping up your card (over the counter or online) you will need to activate the cash by holding your card on one of the smart card readers for approximately 15 seconds.
