Leeds boss Brian McDermott felt a goal should have been disallowed in front of The Kop at Elland Road yesterday.
But it was not Luke Murphy’s controversial late winner.
Albion thought Murphy controlled the ball with his arm before bundling a shot past Tomasz Kuszczak and secure a 2-1 win for Leeds.
But McDermott was unhappy with Leo Ulloa’s strike which opened the scoring.
McDermott said: “Ulloa was a yard offside for the goal.
“I don’t know if you’ve seen it yet but he was a yard offside. We saw it at half-time.”
McDermott believed Leeds’ noisy support helped played a big part in roaring them to the late win.
But he admitted both sides contributed to an enjoyable contest.
He told lufc.co.uk: “It was a really good game. We played against a very good team.
“They have been developing that team for quite a long time and we stayed in the game and played some good football of our own.”
