I'm sweating in places I didn't I could sweat in already

I work in a factory with an old asbestos roof and roof windows the entire length of the workshop, which is basically a massive greenhouse. To make it worse my machine is in an annex with hardly any air flow. I do laser cutting sheet metal and am currently cutting 8mm mild steel, which is hot, the machine is hot, everything is just hot.

I bought a thermometer off t'interweb and it's currently showing 37.8 degrees, I reckon it's going to hit over 44 by 4 o'clock this afternoon judging on past experience. This last few days has been a pleasant 30ish degrees in here.

Sweat box hell for me.

How is everyone else doing?

Just me suffering today then?

I've got a big fan set up but all it's doing is moving hot air around and doesn't help at all.

At least I'm not insulating a loft I suppose

Absolutely chilled to the bone. We go outside every hour to warm up again.

The aircon is mental. At my end of the floor it is freezing cold, and at the far end it is baking hot. PCs are MELTING at the far end, and covered in ice at this one. No word of a lie. Allegedly.

I have air-con. It's about right at the moment, but tends to get too cold on very hot days.

dying here, no aircon all doors open all windows open 3 large fans on the go to shift some air around and still cooking.... i've even sunk to the level of kicking off my shoes

Same here. I'm glad I'm not in my last office, I'd be sweating like a paedo in a playground.

This is how hot it peaked at for me today

Far too hot, I have a date with several pints of Aspall cider topped up with ice at 16.30 when I finish and get out of here
