Brighton Big Screen 2013

Anyone going along to the BIG SCREEN on the seafront this week then ? All kicks off again tomorrow.

I have mostly booked Friday off so I can go and watch Day 2 of the Ashes down there, but I must admit to being a little bit MIFFED that its actually only 3 hours of coverage being shown on Friday, from 15.00 - 18.00 (sandwiched by Sharks Tale at 13.00 and Grease at 18.00). Here's the programme this week (minus some CBeebies stuff in the mornings):

Might be tempted to mince along to see Les Mis on Sunday night, if its toasty. I bloody loves the big screen I does.

Thursday's Ashes slot is brilliantly timed: 15.30 - 18.30. They'll show a whopping TEN miutes of play before the tea interval. And, in the unlikely event that the bowl the overs in time, play finishes at 18.00.

Thanks for this. I did not realise it was on this year and that it was free. If the weather is good I will wander down. Brighton Rock showing- hope its the original and not Eastborne remake.

Penned in the Mod Evening on Sunday 25th August as one to go to. Other than that will try to go along for some Ashes coverage at some point as well!

Went down for the Olympic Closing Ceremony last year which was a fantastic evening! Well worth going at some point. For those worried abotu getting in for a certain event or film you can book seats in a special "VIP" section now for £6, which I'm tempted to do for the Mod evening!
