Its the usual Real Madrid tactic, any other club does it's called tapping up but they seem to get away with it.

Seeing as he's a left winger, and Ronaldo seems to love playing on the left. If this is true, could this mean Ronaldo's leaving? Would be interesting...

Who else do you suggest should be plying their trade in Madrid, Barcelona, Munich, Milan etc.

Unless by 'over Europe' you mean Glasgow, Dublin, Douglas, and Yorkshire.

Dont believe it. Sky is quoting Spanish press which is like the Turkish press.... very biased and will print anything. Looking at thew Real adn barca papers you would have thought every player under the sun had signed for them.

Absolutely, Marca is the mouth piece of Real Madrid it is a story designed to put pressure on Bale and Spurs. The same happened with Ronaldo and if i remember rightly Zidane, amazes me that they are able to get away with it year after year

All the big clubs "get away with it". Been going on for YEARS. Trawl back through the web and see how Man Utd conducted themselves signing Luis Saha.

What these clubs dont seem to realise that splashing all over the press that someone is coming when he hasnt decided can actually put a player off. Nearly scuppered the deal for Snejder to Gala last year and was certainly responsible for Keano not going to manage IBSBspor last year... come to think of it that worked out quite well.

He'll play right wing or left back most likely if true.

Agree more players should play abroad but would say only in the top handful of leagues. The Championship is better than 95% of the top flights. It's possibly the likes of Bennett on the bench at a bottom half team like Norwich who should be starting abroad to improve really.

Reason will never happen - money (wages and shear over pricing of British talent)
