His house is a few doors away from mine. Other than that bugger all is shot in Hastings or the Old Town

It's an enjoyable show. No need to get too hung up whether bits are filmed in Hastings, Eastbourne or Rye. How hard must it be to get camera angles to keep in shot the old properties and not include anything built later, such as concrete lamposts, modern road signs etc. Would you worry if it were centered in a fictional town?
