So impressed with the 10 min interview
Such a humble man....so unlike Gus
And has a quiet passion for the game...was so surprised when he said we had tried to sign him as a player a few years ago
I feel so confident now

Not really I didn't enjoy the way we played under Poyet...parts of last season I dreaded going TBH.

Anyway this isn't about him it's about OG.

Good interview. Nice and calm and straight.

Club does feel a lot more professional all of a sudden. Poyet was good but with him / Tanno and particularly Oatway it still felt a bit small time.

Seeing Jones intelligent interview it does look like we have moved on a level

His style of play is to please the fans as they pay to come and see good football also to keep the ball and make the opposition adapt to our game.

Spends a lot of time talking about making the fans happy with how his team plays.

I like this fella a lot already.

It's a bit baffling really. Gus reckoned he might have taken the club as far as he could, maybe the board felt that way about him also.
Strange because with the club improving and a new training ground soon to be ready, it was all falling into place.
The club has now got some excellent coaches right through all the teams. It now has appointed full time staff instead of some part time. I think the Barca/Spanish way is being introduced which is hardly surprising looking at the background of the new coach and his team.
Things are on the up, the club has definitely improved a lot in the last few weeks.
I really think that Gus blew it, he had it all to come.
