When Juan Torrijo was at Valencia, they won La Liga twice, the Copa del Rey twice, the Spanish Super Cup twice, the UEFA Cup once and the European Super Cup once. They also got to the Champions League final twice.

Ruben Martinez was a scout for Hristo Stoichkov's academy in Barcelona. He also used to be a goalkeeper for Barca B and he specialises in goalkeeper analysis. Apparently.

The club official in getafe told me Juan is a joker type, and Martinez doesn't speak great English....

Torrijo seems to have worked wonders on the fitness front wherever he's been (I base that mostly on what Maccabi fans have been saying), and could well be integral to the proposed high-energy, Barca-style pressing game that Oscar will mostly likely implement. Exciting stuff.
