Brighton & Hove Albion’s commercial team will be launching an exciting new initiative for businesses in the Sussex area to take advantage of the stunning facilities at the award-winning American Express Community Stadium.*
From January 2014, the Albion Business Club will offer local companies a range of day-to-day business facilities at the stadium, including access to modern and bright communal work space with high-speed Wi-Fi access and free onsite parking; a concierge service, including the option to book corporate boxes to entertain important clients on non-matchdays (small fee applies); plus various networking opportunities and membership to the current Friends of the Albion scheme.
The new offering has been created following discussions with members of Friends of the Albion, and the club’s business development manager Paul Rogers commented, “The Amex is without doubt the place to entertain and do business on a matchday, and the new Business Club will mean local businesses have access to the stadium every day.
“Whether it is a couple of hours between appointments around Brighton, Hove and Sussex, a place to prepare before a vital meeting in the city centre, or a private dinning space to entertain a key client and conclude an important deal, we can provide the base for many of our existing partners, sponsors, Friends of the Albion or 1901 Club members to conduct their business.
“As the scheme evolves, we will also be offering access to various business services via our sponsors and partners at a discounted rate for members – and of course members will be able to offer their services within the club, at a special rate if they wish.
“We appreciate the full service might not be every business’s need, and therefore we will also maintain an associate membership based on the current Friends of the Albion package, but this will only be available to existing members. This is our way of showing our gratitude for their support and loyalty, as many have been members since the scheme’s inception in the club’s Withdean days.”
*Full membership will cost £999 (+ VAT) per annum, but existing Friends of the Albion members will receive a special discounted rate of £899 (+ VAT). The full membership package includes:
•Use of the designated Albion Business Hub lounge on business days (excluding weekday matchdays) between 8.30am-6.00pm which will in itself include the following benefits:
* o Free Wi-Fi
* o Refreshments
* o Free on-site parking
•On-site cafe (Dick's Bar)
•Concierge service
•Company listing in Friends of the Albion section of the matchday programme
•Invitation to monthly formal/informal breakfast networking meetings at the Amex
•Listing and webpage on a new Friends of the Albion website.
