Way out west
Will we forgive him for his disgraceful exhibition in front of the Albion fans at Yeovil? Showed us no respect at all!

Think he still has a flat near Withdean and will provide the contact with the past now that Charlie has moved on.

Breaking news Nathan Jones back with Albion
.
10:51am Thursday 18th July 2013 in Sport Exclusive By Andy Naylor.

Albion head coach Oscar Garcia is poised to add experience of English football to his support staff by bringing former defender Nathan Jones back to the club.

The 40-year-old Welshman was part of Garcia's backroom team for an open training session at the Seagulls' Spanish base in Segovia this morning.

Jones made over 150 league appearances for Albion in a five-year spell from 2000-05 and was involved in three promotions.

He spent the last three years of a seven-year stretch at his next club, Yeovil Town, as assistant manager.

Jones has returned to Albion from Charlton, where he spent last season as development coach.

He would be a perfect fit with his knowledge of English football and the club, coaching qualifications and the additional benefit of speaking Spanish after spells in Garcia's homeland earlier in his playing career with Numancia and Badajos.

Albion are also expected to confirm the appointments of Juan Torrijo Navaro and Ruben Martinez, revealed by The Argus when Garcia arrived last month.

They were head fitness coach and assistant coach respectively last season at Maccabi Tel Aviv, the Israeli side guided by Garcia to their domestic title.

Considering the hassle Hammond got on here last season and that what Jones did was probably far worse, it will be interesting to see how some will react to this.

Good. Now I can go & give him that slap he deserved when he threw himself on the ground to get one of our players sent off (at Woeville).
