Albion have signed highly–rated MK Dons left-back Adam Chicksen on a three-year deal.
The pacey 21-year-old is joining Oscar Garcia’s squad on their pre-season trip to Spain.
Chicksen made 73 league starts for his home town Dons but was out of contract this summer.
The Seagulls have been looking for an attack-minded left-back to replace Wayne Bridge.
They had Nicky Shorey – a rather more steady option – on trial recently but he was let go without securing a contract.
