1066 the tribe of La Rossiters I belive trying to confirm this Link father from Salford,Mother side from Dorset via India only started family tree research on my side when the wife got stuck on hers a few years ago, now it's become an obsession. But I was born in Brighton.

Wow! Interesting link but many, many errors in it!

That is true...there were still trams in 1940s remember seeing them,the tracks were still down to the late 50s and trolley buses did not run on tracks...but interesting anyway..

My family tree shows my family were boatmakers in Shoreham (the Suters of Suters Yard), but, before that, they were all from Poling, agricultural workers. I should have a look in Poling churchyard one day.
